Atelier

Can I visit your atelier?

Yes — I’d be happy to meet you during a scheduled appointment.

You can book your visit via Calendly here.

The atelier is located at Van Lissumstraat 18a, 2100 Deurne.

Shipping & Delivery

How does shipping work?

Shipping is available within EU and is free for orders over €100.

For orders below this amount, a €10 shipping fee applies.

Delivery time depends on your location and product availability. For each size and finish, please refer to the indicated lead times shown under the Add to Cart button.

Do you offer expedited shipping options?

If you’re in a hurry, feel free to contact us. If the item you want is in stock, we’ll do our best to arrange faster shipping. Please note, however, that we may not always be able to accommodate urgent requests.

How will my order be packaged?

We pack and ship every order with great care. All jewelry pieces come in a beautiful, eco-friendly branded box—perfect for both storage and gift-giving. Orders are then placed inside secure shipping boxes to ensure they arrive safely.

Returns & Exchanges

Our returns policy

Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before issuing a return. We cannot refund any products received without prior notice.

Our return window lasts 30 days. After 30 days from the delivery date, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.

We do not accept returns on:

  • Customised pieces
  • Custom orders
  • Sale items

To request a return, please email us at info@jokemeukens.com with your proof of purchase. If your return is eligible, we will provide further instructions.

Please note that all return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Non-refundable items
  • Items not in their original condition or with damaged/missing parts not due to our error
  • Gift cards
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Sale items
  • Custom jewelry

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund has not arrived, please allow a few additional days for bank processing.

If more than 10 working days have passed since your refund confirmation, please contact us at info@jokemeukens.com.

Exchanges

We can only exchange items for another item of the same or higher value. If you choose a lower-priced item, you will receive a store credit for the difference.

Store credits are valid for one year and are non-transferable to other person.

Defective items may be exchanged for the same item.

Bespoke: Process, Timeline & Pricing

What is the minimum order for custom work?

Custom pieces start at approximately €750. They are crafted exclusively in gold, with your choice of yellow, white, or rose gold.

How long does custom work take?

Lead times are typically 6–8 weeks for the creation of your bespoke piece.

What does the custom process look like?

  3. Design Proposal & Quotation.
  4. Handcrafting your piece in our Antwerp atelier.
  5. Delivery or atelier collection, depending on your preference.
How do I start a custom project?

Simply fill in the bespoke form and select a suitable time for an appointment via Calendly (here). During the consultation, we’ll explore your ideas and guide you through the process.

Customization of Existing Designs

Do you offer customization of pieces in your collection?

Yes. We offer personalization options such as engravings, higher-carat metals, or alternative gemstone selections for existing designs. Contact us for more information.

Design Style & Craftsmanship

What is your design style?

All our pieces feature organic, natural shapes crafted entirely by hand in our Antwerp atelier. We celebrate imperfection and the unique character that comes with true handmade jewellery.

Materials & Responsible Sourcing

What materials do you work with?

Custom pieces are created primarily in 18k gold. We work with both natural and lab-grown gemstones, carefully sourced from partners who share our commitment to ethical practices.
Our ready-to-wear collection also includes pieces in sterling silver.

Can I use my own gold?

Yes — we’re happy to repurpose heirloom pieces or gold you already own. Please note that this requires additional time due to the refining process, with a starting cost of €200.
